Barcelona beat Real Mallorca to stay atop at the Premiera Liga
Barcelona was stretched to the limit by spirited Real Mallorca. Barcelona managed to win the match 1-0, thanks to an own goal from Fernando Navarro. This victory means that Barcelona remains on top of the Spanish Premiera Liga with 59 points from 30 games and is presently leading second placed Sevilla by four points - Seilla was defeated by Valencia 2-0. For Valencia, David Villa scored both goals.

Playing without the charismatic midfielder, Ronaldinho - Barcelona strikers lacked spark throughout the match although they defended amiably. With result also going their way and folowing Sevilla’s shock defeat, Barcelona are now at the pole position to secure the La Liga title. Barca will look forward for Ronaldiho’s return, who is out with injury - a win in all games from here will seal the title for the Catalian giants.
